As UFO disclosure reaches a tipping point in early 2025, the evidence mounting before us can no longer be dismissed. Don’t ignore what’s happening with UFO disclosure right now, from Representative Anna Paulina Luna’s powerful new federal task force and China’s dramatic mass sighting to Spielberg’s strategic shift in naming his upcoming film “Disclosure” — all signaling an unprecedented moment in the quest for UFO truth.

UFO Sighting in China

A notable incident in China’s Zhangzhou, Fujian Province on February 10, 2025, captured public attention when multiple witnesses reported observing luminous objects that displayed unusual behavior. The objects initially arranged themselves in a linear formation before splitting into more than a dozen separate lights and reorganizing into a circular pattern. The entire display lasted only seconds before vanishing, drawing comparisons to other documented cases of UFO splitting behavior, such as the Aguadilla incident. Unlike flares, which maintain relative positions to each other and may appear to split only due to falling debris or sparks, these objects actively reorganized themselves before vanishing suddenly as a group.

The Chinese government’s response to the incident has highlighted ongoing challenges in official UFO reporting channels. Zhangzhou government officials claim of having no information about the event sparked criticism from citizens on Chinese social media platforms, particularly on Weibo, where users expressed frustration over the pattern of authorities either claiming ignorance or promising investigations that quietly disappear.

Task Force for Declassification of Federal Secrets

In the United States, Representative Anna Paulina Luna has emerged as a leading figure in UFO disclosure efforts with the establishment of her Task Force for Declassification of Federal Secrets. Luna’s approach marks a significant shift from traditional Congressional hearings, emphasizing the need for concrete evidence over witness testimony alone. Her task force has taken particular interest in the case of David Grusch, who testified before Congress in 2023. Luna advocates for restoring Grusch’s security clearances to allow him access to sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs), enabling him to provide detailed information about alleged reverse engineering programs and crash retrievals.

On February 18th, Representative Anna Paulina Luna announced the official members of her Task Force for Declassification of Federal Secrets, including Representatives Nancy Mace, Tim Burchett, Lauren Boebert, Eric Burlison, Eli Crane, and Brandon Gill, with Luna serving as chairwoman.

The task force’s scope extends beyond national boundaries, with Luna revealing potential collaboration with at least one friendly nation on disclosure programs. This international dimension adds credibility to the initiative, especially given historical precedents of U.S. involvement in foreign UFO investigations, from Project Blue Book to more recent cases.

What’s Happening With UFO Disclosure Right Now

Adding to the momentum in UFO disclosure, filmmaker Steven Spielberg has renamed his upcoming UFO-themed movie from “The Dish” to “Disclosure,” scheduled for release in summer 2026. This development carries particular weight given Spielberg’s historical contribution to UFO culture through films like “E.T.” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” His previous work has involved consultation with NASA and military experts, lending authenticity to his portrayals. A notable historical connection exists in President Ronald Reagan’s reaction to a White House screening of “E.T.,” where he reportedly suggested to Spielberg that elements of the film were “absolutely true.”

As 2025 unfolds, the convergence of Luna’s task force, international UFO incidents, and Hollywood’s renewed interest through Spielberg’s “Disclosure” suggests an interesting shift in how UFO evidence is being revealed to the public. With a dedicated congressional team now in place, concrete evidence emerging worldwide, and growing pressure for transparency, we may be witnessing the early stages of a systematic approach to UFO disclosure that could finally bridge the gap between government secrecy and public knowledge.
